The beauty of amazing Dresden Lace Porcelain
Dresden Porcelain", it was in this city that the secret of its manufacture was discovered at the beginning of the 18th century. At the end of the same century, the mass production of figurines began. Basically, these were figures of ballerinas, dancers, beautiful ladies in magnificent dresses made of the finest lace, gallant gentlemen.
Lace porcelain got its name due to its lightness and grace, as well as its resemblance to real braided lace. Most often, lacy porcelain figurines appear before us in the form of girls, often ballerinas or dancers in lush, airy dresses, which consist of the finest lace with small, small holes. And specially selected delicate colors, such as pink or blue, make these figures even lighter, delicate and weightless.
